What Are You Reading?

We are both still reading Blood Born by Linda Howard and Linda Winstead Jones. It is FABULOUS, but we are slow because we're in first draft?

What are you reading?

  1. I just finished LJ's new book, "Come to Me", which I will be reviewing Monday on our blog, www.writteninink.net. I have now picked up "the beach street knitting society and yarn club" by Gil McNeil and will be reading it going to down Auburn for my son's graduation, cum laude in biomedical sciences (I have to brag!).

  3. Don't get me started...With a 3.9 he didn't get in. He's doing research and will try again. Mom was livid!

  4. I'm reading "Changeless" by Gail Carriger and "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Private Investigating", but it's slow going because most of my usual reading time is going into writing. Both of the books I'm reading are fabulous, but reading the first makes me feel guilty for taking time away from writing. The second is research for my writing; every time I get a spark of an idea from the CIG, it sends me off to the writing.

  5. Shawn, I admire your discipline! I, too, feel like I have to earn my reading time.

  6. Cheryl, I look forward to reading that reveiw. I just finished Blood Born and am needing a new LJ book!

Shawn-You may feel a little guilty but as the fabulous LJ says, "If you never put anything new into the well then you have nothing to take from the well." Those sparks are what keeps our writing exciting!
